Default Engine build assist in central FL.

I am going to split my 540 and change the cam and tappets soon. I would gladly pay someone to supervise my work. I am not trying to go cheap but want to avoid the 3-4 months that the motor shops are behind and it has been decades since my last build.

PM or email mconner7 at Verizon dot net.

Any chance you've been in contact with JB Aircraft Engines over in Sebring? Jimmy Brod did a fantastic job on a friend's engine.

Even if he can't do the work he may know someone who'll look over your shoulder.
