Default GRT EIS Help Needed

I've just swapped an older O-360 for a brand new IO-360 in my neighbors RV-8.

Everything works except we cant get the new Lycoming EIS Mags to send RPM to the GRT EIS. We did not mess with any of the wiring between the Mag and the GRT, so I'm hoping there is a setting we need to change that we don't know about.

We installed the UMA manifold pressure sender 10-35 PSI from Aircraft Spruce Manufacture number N1EU35G. I'm hoping someone knows the settings for that too. GRT doesn't know the numbers, so right now we do not have Manifold Pressure.

On the good side, she runs great! Super smooth.

Thanks for the help,

Chris Mallory

Default My suggestion

Suggest you call SureFly, I believe they have any adapter board that will make it work, or they will know the solution.

This is correct. I have the Tach2 board, as they name it. No tach signal from the SureFlys will be recognized by the GRT without it.
