In case this wasn't already known, the phone cable supplied with the Van’s RV kits for the ELT has the opposite wiring of the ACK ELT. If a builder uses the cable supplied by ACK, no problema. But, if like me, the phone cable is already in the plane, a straight-threw coupler between the two male ends at the ELT doesn’t work. So, a cross-over coupler is needed. No biggie, just takes a while to troubleshoot.
