Join Paul Dye and EAA's Charlie Becker on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. Central Time for a live webinar, "Flying with AOA," as they discuss and demystify Angle of Attack (AOA) systems and explain how they can help pilots know their airplanes and avoid the types of critical flight issues that can result in loss of control accidents. If you have a modern EFIS, it likely already has AOA capability built in.

Thanks for posting Greg!

Yes - just about everyone who is flying today was taught how to fly using airspeed as their primary indicator of how the wing is doing in flight, but you hav e probably heard that the ASI is “the gauge that lies” (sometimes). Angle of Attack is nothing REALY new - its been used since the Wright Brothers - and almost everyone who is building an airplane today probably has it in their EFIS already- we just need to spread the word and help folks learn how to use this simple tool.

I am part of an EAA committee created to help the process - sign up for the webinar and spend a little time learning how to reduce your risk of an LOC mishap!
