Chasing an electrics gremlin and wanted to see if anyone has any ideas.
On startup, we’re seeing some wild fluctuations on the voltmeter and hearing some clicking behind the panel (https://youtube.com/shorts/HNMXeNirQP4?feature=share). After run up, the voltage stabilises and continues as normal and clicking stops.
We’ve checked the voltage at the main bus and it’s steady, even when the voltmeter is swinging. We’ve removed tested the voltmeter and everything looks fine. We’ve tested the the voltage at the rear of the voltmeter from the input wiring, and that’s steady.
We’ve inspected for any loose ground wires and everything looks good. But it does seem to be associated with whatever clicking sound we hear being the panel after the first start.
