RV10 Billet Trim Brackets

Purchased a pair of RV10 Billet Trim Brackets and two cover plates they attach to. I understand that some builders have attached them using screws and nuts. Wondering what size screws and nuts they used and info on countersinking the billets to accept the dimple for the screw. Or did they just use a round head screw? I like the idea of this type of attachment over the blind rivets in case I have to remove later. Thanks

Using a captive fastener - PEM Nut

Hello,

I was trying to remove requirements for the loose fasteners in the hard to reach spot with the trim cables attached. I used PEM fasteners. I documented it on my website.

My Web site page for the PEM nuts.

I may have a few PEM inserts remaining and I can let you borrow the tool, although it is probably less expensive to make yourself.

Enjoy.

Mike
