Glassed Tips SB036 Another way to inspect

My HS-706 Tip Ribs are foamed & glassed over. Instead of drilling thru the glass, I removed the empennage fairing, used hex quick release drill extensions & step drill to enlarge the tooling hole in HS-708 Main Rib. I inserted the Teslong 450 scope’s flexible cable into a piece of 3/8” Pex tubing. The tubing helped guide the camera to the enlarged tooling hole (using the scope’s front camera) and also helped to “form” the cable straight. Once thru the hole, I continued to push the scope cable thru the tubing until in position for crack inspection, using the side camera.
For me, the tubing was important. I could get the camera into the hole without it, but the cable was too flexible and I could not control position well enough to get in focus. The tubing fixed that. Also, I found that if I extended some of the cable out of the tubing, and shaped it, it would hold part of that shape. This helped me to get the proper distance for camera focus.

I have attached a few pics to help explain.
