Working on the annual for my RV-14 (175 hrs tt) and found the rubber seal (o-ring) for the flap actuator rod broken. Does anyone know if I’m able to send it out for rebuild or is a repair kit available?
If not, I’m leaning towards installing PH Aviation flap motor. Build quality and pricing look good (PH $349 vs Van’s $750). Any comments about installing the PH motor actuator into a flying RV-14 would be appreciated.
