Rivet substitute recommendation.

I’m building flaps, and for reasons I can’t explain, I have no LP4-3’s for the rib to spar joints. I do have plenty of cherry BSPS4-3’s though. On paper review, this seems like a good alternate, but I want it to be. I will probably call Vans, but I’d appreciate any thoughts before. I’d rather not wait for a two week Vans order. Thanks.

I ordered LP4-3s on Monday mid day using cheapest method from Vans. USPS shows they will be here by Sat. Not back for cross country postal service.
