One Buddy wanted some instruction/XC time in his 10, One buddy wanted to look at some boats with a mentor a long ways from home, This guy wanted to take a day off from kitchen remodeling. Kinda a win for everyone.

Wx was going to be upper MVFR for the entire trip KC to Arkansas to South Central Texas with conditions improving with the High Pressure moving in.

Departing KC with the morning sun over the light snow and overcast that moved east through the night. We've got intermittent higher Ovc layers along our flight path, PDub piloting his well built airplane into this adventure.

Picked up a couple more friends and headed southwest. Pretty sure this airport wont take long to recognize......

My Buddy's JetBoat Guru, one of the best. Actually owned a C140 for a bit and did a decent bit of flying around in small airplanes, he was pretty impressed with PDub's RV10.

Funny how the RV makes anywhere in Texas "in the neighborhood." Since we were in the neighborhood we had to stop at PDub's and My RV Mentor's place, He was instrumental in both of our airplanes. He's even on the Van's website!
