AirWolf Remote Oil Reservoir Vermatherm

So it looks like Airwolf is saying there is a specific vernatherm for their remote oil reservoir system

To the tune of $450+ for the vernatherm.

Is there a generic vernatherm? The threading on my Lycoming vernatherm that I took off my O-360 is perfectly threaded and sticks out a bit as youi can see in the photos below.

Has anyone used their “regular” vernatherm in the Airwolf system?

Thoughts?
Edited to add: Airwolf says the model number vernatherm for their system is 53E22144

I did...

I removed the vernatherm that came with my engine and installed it in my air wolf system.

I have an oil cooler butterfly valve as well but have no problems maintaining 190 degrees on the oil temperature...

Thx rocketman1988, that is the kind of stuff I am looking for. I too will have the butterfly on my oil cooler. I just find it hard to imagine this original vernatherm won’t work
