E-01423 trailing edge bar

Am I correct in that the narrow edge of the trailing edge bar (E-01423) points forward and the thicker edge points rearward?

Squeezing the rivets is interesting. I used this tool:

Available here: https://aircraft-tool.com/shop/detail.aspx?id=AE14-1801

There's also a tool for countersinking the trailing edge wedge:

Haven't done that yet, but liked the AEX Cleveland tool on the rudder, so of course think the TE tool would be good too. I did do a partial squeeze (to just before flat set would touch the skin) with normal flat set first on my rudder, not sure if that makes a difference, but didn't want to chance it. I'm planning on doing the same for the Elev TE.

That is correct only for the elevator. All other control surfaces, like rudder, would be the opposite .

Thanks guys...slightly tricky install but glad I asked before finishing this section. Shipping is crazy these days...makes me glad I'm only 20 minutes from Vans.
