Bluetooth connection issues with remotely mounted cameras

If anybody out there is knowledgeable about Bluetooth technology, can you explain why remotely controlled, (via Bluetooth), wing mounted cameras work only on the ground? My Insta 360 remote control device loses the bluetooth connection to camera shortly after takeoff...every time!
The camera is mounted on a pole that extends out in front of wing. There is a clear line of sight to the remote in the cockpit, which is only about 10 feet away......????

Bluetooth uses 2,4 GHz very close to the G5 cellphone network.
It´s also close to aircraft radar altimeters frequency.
Vave propagation is better close to GND for HF.
I would suggest using a signal strength app.

Looks like a handy app to have if I lost one of my devices…. but how will it help with keeping the remote / camera connected while flying? Thanks
