Monkworkz generator

I just installed a Monkworkz generator in a backup capacity on my IO-320 powered RV9A. I will be upgrading the instrument panel soon to dual electronic EFIS and wanted redundant power. Install was dead simple. Installed the regulator on my firewall, tied the output wire from the regulator through its own circuit breaker, then into the buss side of the main switch. A two position switch turns the unit on. My startup sequence is engine on, backup alternator on (amp shows meter jump to 14 amps), then switch main alternator on (amp meter shows 14.8 amps). I did not install the indicator lamp in my dash but may do so at later date. I could not be more pleased with the simplicity, ease of install, and piece of mind this upgrade provides. Excellent product at a very fair price!
