3D Printed "Flower Pot" Timing Indicator Fits RV Spinner

Simple little 3D printing project to make a “flower pot” timing indicator that fits the spinner on my RV6. Made in two pieces: a cone that fits the profile of the spinner, and a box that holds the digital level. Includes a centering alignment hole in each piece so they can be clecoed and glued together.

I used the “Wixey digital angle gauge Type 2 with Magnetic Base and Backlight Model No. WR300” sold on Amazon for around $25 depending on vendor.

Have been using a variant of this design when adjusting the valve tappets on the Warner 145 on the 1932 Monocoupe 110 and it works very well.

The cone piece could be easily modified to fit different profile spinners. For the spinner on my RV6 I used 73 mm for the large end, 25 mm for the small end, and the cone is 90 mm high.

The box to hold the Wixey digital gauge has an inside dimension of 59 mm and is 25 mm deep.
