Working on a rebuild here. This 7A had a nose leg replaced some years ago, following a hard landing.
With the firewall assembly removed, I found both F-601J angles sheared from the F-772B floor stiffeners. I do note there are only two rivets installed, and the drawing (attached) shows three. However, it still strikes me as something very easy to miss during a condition inspection, or while making repairs.
Moral of the story? If a nose gear impact is suspected, it might be a good idea to reach down there with a screwdriver and pry lightly to see if the angle and floor stiffener will separate.
