Almost a 14 mod install

Hi All, was working on installing the Almost a 14 mod in my 7A slider. I am running into an issue where the screws on the vertical and angled center sections (flap motor cover) are not lining up with the new center piece from Anti-splat.

Has anyone ever seen this? I reached out to Allan via text and will email him photos but wanted to see if I am just missing something that others have seen. Everything else seems to line up correctly but the nut plates and holes are off by about 1/4" or so.

Just to be sure I tried my side covers in a 9A sitting next to me in the hangar and they line up perfectly.

I'm doing the same thing this week - installing the mod in an under-construction -7. I initially had trouble lining up the holes with the platenuts but once I trimmed the top of the vertical piece the way Allan shows in his video they fit fine.
