Canopy Question

Just getting ready to install the F-631A channel on the rear of the canopy. The plans call for using pull rivets to attach the channel to the canopy. I am very hesitant to do this. Does anyone one have a better way?

Thanks, Walt

Not sure what part you are referring to, I think a tip up? I have a slider. Didn't like the pull rivets idea... I drilled and tapped my canopy frame for countersunk screws. However DO NOT use locktite near the plexi... it will attack the plexi.

Maybe you can substitute screws in your installation?

My screws bear on aluminum strips (dimpled) and then the canopy has oversized countersunk holes so that any expansion/contraction movement doesn't cause stress on the canopy. 5 years, no cracks.
