Garmin heated pitot mast

I'm leaning toward using the Garmin heated pitot tube like I have on my RV-10 but was wondering what folks are using for the mounting mast? This one seems like the best deal: https://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/inpages/alumpitotmast12-04764.php?clickkey=9866

I just used the Garmin mast. Mounted it to an 2 inch x 1 inch .063 angle. Easy.

Gretz mast for me. I fabricated a bracket to tie the doubler to the adjacent rib and the spar flange.

The mast from Aircraft Spruce referenced by the original poster looks like the one I used on my RV-10. It worked well for me, although determining where to drill the holes for the pitot mounting into the mast was a little difficult to determine the locations.

I used that blue mast with a Dynon heated pitot on my RV8 and it worked perfectly. If I can't get an Alpha Systems unheated pitot (got the WTB ad in the classifieds here), I'll buy another Dynon and install it with the blue mast too.
