Correct.
Turn on nav. lights only (no strobes), at night and stand behind the airplane. You should see a white light on the back of each wing tip. The regulation doesn't require it to be a single while light source at the rear of the airplane. Only that the white light be visible on a 140 degree arc around the back of the airplane. This can be met by placing one on each wing tip.
