Mark, Congrats and welcome! I see you have the same wing lockers as my 6 but my plane uses wheel pants and not "Spats" (Kidding). What conversion did you do?
Kirk

Hi Kirk

I did my taildragger conversion . I have only flow trikes all my life . So was fun getting use to it.

Mark, welcome aboard the good ship VAF:D

Congrats Mark. It’s a beautiful airplane. I have a question. I am at the finishing stage of my RV6 build, and I’m considering using a vinyl wrap for the instrument panel. It looks like you may have done that too. If you indeed did that, how did you cut out the holes on the vinyl after laying it down, for your rounded toggle switches? My thinking is an exacto knife, but hoping for a more precise method. From what I’ve read, the vinyl wrap is relatively easy to install, and pretty durable. What’s your experience (if you’ve actually done that)?

Hi there .Thanks I am enjoy her.
Yes you getting to the exciting stage.
My panel is carbon fiber. The experience I have with vinyl , is limited. A friend of mine marked his out and used a sharp stanly knife to cut the vinyl. The other method is cut all your openings on your panel. Then stick you vinyl onto your panel, then cut through the holes . you will get it more accurate like that.

Trust this helps. Send some pics

Mark
