Higher CHT but lower EGT

I have a O360 4 cylinders.
Number 4 cylinders is constantly showing CHT about 30deg higher (400 deg),than the 3 others cylinders, while being 50 deg EGT lower than number 2 cylinder. If the probe is not an issue, what could be the reason ?
Thanks

EGT is mostly meaningless relative to CHT. The CHT 30 degree difference is not really a big issue unless it’s a change from how the engine normally operates. Lots of threads on here about baffling and airflow and how it effects CHT. If it recently jumped 30 degrees I would be concerned otherwise probably not a issue. You are probably pulling air for the oil cooler from that cylinder location.

MANY reasons for one cyl too be consistenly hotter than others and most reasons are related to cooling, not engine problems or performance. EGT variances even more so. EGT temp reading is highly dependant upon probe health and placement.

Carb engines are not always able to get an equal mixture to each cylinder--thus CHTs can vary between cylinders.

Couple tricks others have used are to back off the throttle a little bit, or add just a bit of carb heat.
