I have the Dymo Rhino 5200. Expensive but the kit comes with the AC adapter and a bunch of tape. I purchased the generic heat shrink tube on Amazon and tested them. They work fine.

Are the trim and flaps controlled by the EFIS or wired direct to switches?

The only areas needing cleanliness are fay surfaces. They should be scuffed and wiped with a solvent. Only place I used MEK.
The other areas can be wiped at the same time if you want.

The longerons are not excotic metal. A local metal supplier may have it. Seems like it's extruded 6061 but maybe someone will reply with the correct alloy. Worth checking.

Yep. Import the CAD drawing into Adobe Illustrator. Make sure screw holes and the panel lines are black. Have a local sign printer print it. Some keep mistakes and will print on mistakes very cheap....
