Just to close the loop on this thread. After test flying the 6, looks as if the above fixed the problem 95%. I think the other 5% is rigging on my part and can be tweaked.

I don’t think I have ever seen a “both” on low wing aircraft, only in cessna’s.

Nevermind, I ended up fixing the issue with ripping out the light and making a plexiglass mounting base. Need to epoxy in and should be done.
