Hopefully others more experienced than me will reply but that doesn't look right at all. I'm guessing a smaller pinned was used to ease pin installation. Looks like that needs to get fixed ASAP.

Others with more experience will hopefully speak up about how to configure them, but the units GDU460/470 are only designated PFD or MFD after installation. So a GDU 460/470 can be either or.

Sounds like a good idea once I've run the engine and need to put back in storage mode. For now, Lycoming say's the engine has been internally preserved and I just need to keep an eye out for moisture.

The bolt instal was a little fiddly but not bad. As far as safety wire...The original bolt from Lycoming wasn't safety wired, I just used an internal star lock washer.
