Angle iron legs

With the engine and mount off, just make two legs that bolt on the fuse with mount bolts at the firewall. Get fancy and put some HF wheels on the end of the legs. X brace them for “suspenders”.

Boeshield type alternative

Grizzley Tools sell a can of jelly from Slip It Industries for this purpose, table saws ,planers etc. smears on easy and dries. Not a silicone, I think its more Boeshild, paraffin based.

Fab your doubler to fit the fuse skin to your liking.

Glue the doubler in place with 3M 2216.

Mark and drill mounting holes from inside or outside.

Garmin docs show all Kavilco sensors ( OP / FP/ MP etc )wired with shielded. The sensors have plain wire leads. Is Shielded really required? Your experience would be helpful.

The cam taper and follower crown is to avoid a “divit”in the follower surface.
