Just when you think you have all the tools you need, I learned about an edge scrapper for dressing the edges of the canopy. Since I build furniture, I’ve use scrappers instead of sandpaper to get a glass like finish on hardwood.

This thing rounds and puts a nice radius on the edge and leaves a slick surface.

And for once, a new tool won’t break the bank.

I think there are a wide choice of canopy scrappers out there from sledge hammers, through saw-saws and sharp drill bits. ;)

However, that scraper is a good find.

Ya it's like a hack saw blade that has a radius ground in it and some instant rubber applied to the ends. Easy to make and can have any radius. But tis one is already made so no fuss just use it.
