Would the o-320e2d be a good engine for the "9"? Does it have a hollow crank? What would be the pros/cons?
Thanks in advance,

Nick,
No provision for fuel pump in most cases, may have the fuel pump mounting pad with out the drive components in the engine. May have a fuel pump installed. Most common application for the engine was the C-172 and it didn't have a fuel pump when used there. It was also used on the C-177 and it did have a fuel pump when used in a Cardinal but there weren't a lot of those made. So make sure the fuel pump provisions are there or you will have to buy another accessory housing and some internal drive components.
Can't be used for constant speed.
Good Luck,
Mahlon
