Vans plans show springs holding up the fairing.

The fairing kit shows slots in the end of the fairing for a hose clamp. It seems to me the flexing at the clamp would eventually break the fiberglass ??

HFS suggests a sofisticated pivot system that my fairing appears pretty tight on the gear leg to have room for

I would appreciate some ideas you have implemented that work.

Some/Most/All of us have run into this problem and devised cool workarounds for the original design -- Aluminum tab, Carbon Fiber, or none at all (fairings at top & bottom hold it in place)
