Walt Well Known Member Sep 13, 2023 #3 Due to roll trim being a spring bias system, I do not normally hook up auto trim with it.
vlittle Well Known Member Sep 13, 2023 #4 I have dual-axis autotrim on my Rocket. The roll axis is the spring bias system. One advantage is that when the auropilot is switched off, the aircraft is in perfect trim. This is a safety as well as a convenience feature.
