This is meant to give hope to those people who screw things up. People like me.
What I was supposed to do: Dimple the fuse skin with a #8 dimple set for the #8 countersunk machine screw that holds the clamp that holds the rudder cable sleeve in place where it exits the back of the fuse (what do you think of that run-on sentence?).
What I did instead: Screwed up the dimpling process so bad I had to drill out the hole completely to the size of the screw head.
How I Made Lemonade: Made a little doubler plate with a correctly dimpled #8 hole and pop rivetted it into place.
Point: You will screw up. There are ways to fix it (usually).
