1. It's automotive hose (not aircraft) choked down to another automotive hose. Not only the wrong hoses, but...
2. the clamp was so tight that air/oil flow was reduced to almost nothing.Solution:
Replace with Mil 6000 hose (one accepted solution) of the same inside diameter as the fitting on the engine. Also, some foks use a combination of Mil 6000 hose and aluminum tubing. You can order Mil 6000 hose from Van's (www.vansaircraft.com/cgi-bin/webstore.cgi) and several other sources. Google 'Mil 6000 Hose'.
